How-

Seslee Sagebale, a freshman, tried her best for Student of the Month at Bowie High School in February, 2020.

She won student of the month because she tried her best to get where she is now. She did everything she could. She studied very hard, went over notes, she did everything she could have done to win student of the month.

Freshman Seslee Sagebale said "I do study guides that my teachers give me and I go over my notes"

She was super nervous when I interviewed her. She was proud of herself for getting this far and for the people that supported her.

“I feel good about myself that I made it this far” Seslee said. “Can't believe I got student of the month.”

She does one sport and has time for herself after school and on the weekends.

When she told her friends they replied with “I didn't expect this from you, I never thought you were that smart.”

Seslee does not have a job but she tries to volunteer as much as she can when she has free time.

“Yes, because I wouldn't have gone where I am if people wouldn't have tutored me.” Seslee replied when I asked her if she would be a tutor.

She wants the best for everyone even if people dislike her. All she wants is for them to balance their social life with their school life.

“I don't consider myself a role model because there are people in my school that are older and smarter.”

All she does is try her best for a better future and a good paying job.

“My parents, but mostly my mother.” She said when I asked who she went to when she needed help.

She volunteers at Austin pets alive for free and just helps out to be helpful.

When I asked her if she was proud of herself she replied with “Yes, because I didn't think I would get here my freshman year.”

Seslee spends her free watching youtube and hanging out with friends.

“My upbringing, I was raised in a good home.” She replied. “It feels really good, I feel like I have done a lot to get here.”
